HOW IT WORKS
Getting your wheelie bin emptied is super easy with Clearabee
Our domestic wheelie bin service is designed for households who need a little extra bin capacity. Maybe you forgot to put your bin out or perhaps you’ve had a few friends round and don’t fancy a trip to the tip.
Whatever the reason, we can come on a next-day basis to empty your household bin.
Book your bin collection
Place your bin collection order online or if you would like to set up regular bin collections from your property then please contact us.
We’re able to collect your bin waste as early as the very next day.
Prepare your bin collection
All you need to do is ensure that your bin is placed outside the front of your property by 8am on the morning of your bin collection,
You can leave the rest to our specialist collection team.
On the day of collection
Our waste collection team will empty the waste from your bin as per your booked collection.
The team will take a photograph of your bin before we remove the waste and after all the waste has been cleared.
After we’ve collected
Once we have collected your waste, they will be transferred to one of our approved commercial waste transfer stations.
You will be sent a waste transfer note containing all the information about what has happened to your waste.

Here are a few frequently asked questions we receive regarding private wheelie bin collection.
Do you collect bins missed by the council?
If you’ve forgotten to put your bins out before collection, there’s a bin strike going on or for whatever reason you’ve got a full bin, we can help you out. Simply order a collection and we’ll be round as soon as possible to collect the waste.
What happens to the waste you collect?
Whether we’re emptying wheelie bins or collecting bulky waste such as sofas, we can assure you that everything will be disposed of responsibly. We’re a registered waste carrier with a proven track record of high rates of recycling. Our green commitments don’t stop there as we have also planted our own Clearabee forests which have allowed us to become a carbon-neutral company.
Do you collect all types of wheelie bins?
Our standard bin collection options are made up of 120-litre, 240-litre and 360-litre bins. If your bin does not fit into any of these categories you should still contact us. We will more than likely be able to create a bespoke quote for your rubbish collection.
Is there a bin collection waste limit?
There isn’t necessarily a weight limit but your bin should be filled to a relatively level load. We don’t mind if the lid isn’t completely closed but if the bags are bulging out of the top of the bin we may have to charge extra. If you can’t fit your bin bags into your bin, again we’d suggest you contact us. We’ll be able to create a bespoke solution to your circumstances.
Can I mix general waste with recycling within the wheelie bin?
Because we provide a standardised bin collection you are able to put bags or recyclable waste and general waste within the same bin. We would ask however that general waste and recyclable waste remain in separate bags so that they are easier to keep separate.
Do you take additional waste?
We don’t just provide private wheelie bin collections, whether it’s old furniture or hiring a skip, Clearabee will be able to provide an efficient solution. You could easily order a bin collection to empty your bin and then order a sofa removal to take away your old sofa for the same day.
Items we can’t collect as part of bin collection
At the collection team’s discretion, some additional items may be taken in small quantities. We cannot collect your bin if it contains any of the following:
Bricks
Rubble
Soil
ABP / Animal Excrement

Not sure how much waste you have, or how to calculate it?
If you’re stood there scratching your head and wondering how do you even begin to calculate how much waste you have, then our waste calculator will help you out. Although cubic yards is the best way to quantify waste, it’s not always the easiest to get your head around. We tend to suggest the best way to visualise a cubic yard is to imagine the space of two washing machines.
Even with this, there is an easier way to determine how much waste you have. Clearabee’s waste calculator allows you to pick and choose specific items that you need to collect. From there it will add up the waste and produce a total in cubic yards and also suggest the best method to get rid of it.
